These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Docfire platform, API, and related services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and will notify you of material changes via email.
2. Description of Services
Docfire provides a cloud-based platform for document generation (PDF reports, labels, datasheets), AI-powered data extraction and processing, and barcode/QR code generation. Services are provided via REST API and web interface.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use our services for any illegal purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, exceed rate limits or abuse the API, distribute malware or harmful content through our platform, or resell our services without authorization.
5. Pricing and Payment
Service pricing is published on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify prices with 30 days' notice. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to data you submit to our platform. Documents generated through our API are your property. Docfire retains all rights to the platform, API, templates, and underlying technology.
7. Limitation of Liability
Docfire provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
